Our Story
Bandie was created from real life.... and a slightly annoying problem.
I’m Sarah, and together with my husband Luke, we started Bandie after realising that wearing a traditional metal ring and working in the trade world don’t mix particularly well. Luke works hands on, and metal rings are a health and safety nightmare on site. Which meant his wedding ring spent more time at home than on his finger....not ideal.
Rings are meant to be worn. They carry meaning, connection, commitment and identity. But real life has a way of getting in the way, especially if you work with your hands, train hard, or spend your days moving, lifting and doing.
So we built something that actually fits real life.
Bandie creates tough, comfortable silicone rings designed to be worn every day. Safe for work sites, the gym, long shifts, and everything in between. Rings you don’t need to take off, tuck away, or worry about losing in a locker somewhere.
While Bandie started in the trade world, it quickly grew beyond it. Our rings are made for anyone living a hands on, active life; tradies, healthcare workers, fitness lovers, creatives, parents, and people who just want a ring that keeps up without demanding attention.
I am a kiwi, Luke is aussie. We reside in Australia proudly shipping to both sides of the ditch. Bandie is built on shared ground, everyday moments, and staying connected, even when life gets busy.
Giving back (because it matters)
We believe if you’re building something, you should look after the world it exists in. Bandie offsets its emissions by supporting Reforest Now, an Australian organisation restoring native rainforests and ecosystems. It’s our way of giving back, one small, practical step at a time.
Acknowledgement of Country
Bandie acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live and work, and recognises their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Bandie is about keeping what matters close, without getting in the way.
Built for real life. And the people who actually live it.
